Can you believe that Christmas is just a few weeks away! Every year seems to go by more quickly than the year before. Here we are again already preparing for shared meals, holiday celebrations, and gift giving.
You may be wondering how to continue cultivating your TRAIL FAMILY lifestyle throughout the holidays. Or maybe you know a dedicated TRAIL FAMILY and you want to give them a thoughtful gift. We’re here to help you out with our TRAIL FAMILY friendly Christmas list.

Bike headlight. If you have an older, more independent child that may be riding after dusk in some circumstances, you may want to consider getting a headlight for their bike.
Trekking Poles. Many poles are adjustable for any height so these make great gifts for any family member. If you are planning any long hikes on more aggressive terrain, then these would be a great investment.
Nature Art kit. This is a great idea for your trail kid who needs to be coaxed out onto the trail. Collect some beautiful things from nature and make art with them. It’s a great way to bring the outdoors inside with you.
A Fit Bit. This could be the big ticket item (if you get one of the more recent models) you pick up for your spouse this year. We use the FitBit Alta which now is a less expensive option, and have enjoyed them for years. They are slim, sleek, and don’t draw too much attention to themselves. You can also buy extra wristbands for fairly inexpensive.
Camelbak water bottle. These are bottles we carry on our bikes and they are really ideal for it. They fit well into the bottle rack and have a lid that keeps out trail dust and dirt.
Snow shoes. It’s always nice to get a gift you can use right away instead of waiting until the spring thaw. A new set of these could be just what you need. Combine it with trekking poles and you have a wonderful gift bundle.
We hope this list is helpful for all the trail enthusiasts in your life. We want to wish you a very Merry Christmas from the TRAIL FAMILY!
