It’s almost here! Christmas that is. I don’t know about you, but we love Christmas around here. We love the look on our kids’ faces as they receive the gifts that we have carefully picked out for them. It is definitely one of the most satisfying feelings you can get as a parent.
The thing that I almost always forget until the last minute are STOCKING STUFFERS. This year I want to be prepared and not push off getting those little gifts and treats for the kids’ and hubby’s stockings. Helpfully, I’ve prepared a list for stocking stuffer gift giving for the TRAIL FAMILY in your life, or your own trail kids!

Bike bell: These were a must for our girls when they got new bikes this summer. We purchased from our local shop. They are a fun, inexpensive item almost any kids loves.
Handlebar streamers: One of our girls loves her streamers on her bike. It gives her a way to showcase her personality with her bike. It also sets her apart from her sister.
Bike wrench: This can be an inexpensive little gift that the kids can pick up for Dad or as a stocking stuffer. Either way, it is an essential tool for any TRAIL FAMILY.
Wool socks: It sounds like a sad cliche to get socks for Christmas, but you can make an exception in this case. A TRAIL FAMILY needs to take care of their feet. You can read our post about that here. Christmas is a great time to get everyone (kids too) stocked up on warm, cozy socks. My personal favorites are SmartWool.
Trail Snacks: No stocking is complete until there are some yummy treats inside. We have mentioned that we enjoy LARABAR energy bars. We also love Nature Valley granola bars and loose granola.
